Steep is a feature documentary about big mountain skiing. A sport that has barely been around for four decades.

 

Steep features all the top names in big-mountain skiing today, with the likes of Bill Briggs, Seth Morrison, Glen Plake, Shane McConkey, Ingrid Backstrom and others, you know you will get to see some true awe-inspiring talent.

 

At the centre of the film is the legend himself, Doug Coombs who sadly passed away in 2006 in a skiing accident in La Grave. His death captivates a question that this film asks; is the reward worth the prominent possibility of death or long-lasting injury?

 

Steep was shot in High-Definition and filmed in Alaska, Wyoming, Canada, France and Iceland.
